Predicting the future? Sorry Family Guy, but Simpsons already did it.

It's probably more like how Corey Feldman tried to warn Hollywood about child abuse or how Amy Winehouse joked that women who wanted to be in Hollywood should watch out for Weinstein.

Nobody "predicted" anything. They knew, but were either ignored or were too afraid to risk their career over exposing it.

I would imagine there were whispers among the "Hollywood elite" for quite some time. But everyone was still keeping their mouths shut and protecting the offenders at that point. Seth likely heard the rumours from multiple sources and decided to put it out there by making it a joke in his show.

They were also WAY ahead on the Bruce/Kaitlyn (or whatever the hell spelling of the name it is) Jenner jokes.

Or more likely most of the creepy assholes in Hollywood were more or less open secrets and everyone was cool to ignore it besides making occasional jokes until something came up that made them have to pretend they totally didn't know and disapproved.
