And by 'woke culture', I mean the general 'hey kids, don't hate people for being different' and the 'straight white people are going to b exterminated' thing they believe.

Wouldn't you want the future generation... not to be as angry as you are because you don't understand/are comfortable with something?
Maybe I'm over/under thinking it but it just seems like it's preventing kids from having more emapthy.

Also why not just home school the kids if you're so against the school?

The reason is simple, they want their kids to be easy to indoctrinate just like they were.

I don't get it
As a kid I grew up a fairly homophobic part of Ireland, like 'you'll never be hired to work in the local areas and need to move across country' kinda homophobic since everyone knew one another

Surely you'd want... less of that?

Depends. Wouldnt you prefer being hired over the more talented and harder working homosexual because you enjoy eating ?

Because it keeps them in positions of power, keeps the constant stream of hate going, and makes them get closer and closer to the control they desperately want.

Think about it, they want to control women, they want to control gender, they want to control guns, etc.

There's an endgame here and it's not pretty.

They think kids can't handle simple gender and sexuality acceptance and classes because they (the parents) don't get it now. When they're old.

There is a line between what morals schools should impart and what morals families should impart at home.

Obviously, schools should teach that racism is bad, equality is good, and everyone should be respected regardless of their beliefs (well, with reason, no one likes nazis).

As a father with young kids, I and a lot of us on the right (and moderates, see Glenn Youngkin victory here in VA) take issue when you try to impose leftist ideology in the classroom.

When suddenly some want to push equity instead of equality, leftist views of gender ideology and sexual relationships, etc. - particularly at a young age - there deserves to be pushback, because that is not a universal moral standard and I would argue one in the minority.

But neither are the things you mentioned previously that schools should teach. These things have to be fought for.

I've grown sympathy for people who are mad at something 24/7. It's not like it's fun for them. And at the end of conversations, I'm the one that gets to go back to being in a good mood again immediately after leaving whatever conversation I was roped into.

I say that, because the people who complain about "woke culture" seem to be the ones always angry at something. Once you start getting mad at stuff as petty as a character you like changing in future renditions, you're pretty much locked in to being angry all the time
