A few days ago there was lots of banging above me and maintenance going in and out. In the late afternoon they carried out the double sink part of a kitchen cabinet. They were still going at it the next day so I asked the property manager and learned that the family moved out,

It is days later. They are still going at it. I heard saws.

Various scenarios.

1. The apartment is being upscaled for double rent. There is no parking with this building.
2. Somebody died. There would surely be people hanging around asking questions.
3. They really messed the place up. They acted like a normal family.
4. The unit was really in bad shape and now it is being fixed. <--most likely but from the amount of labor it was really in bad shape.
