Really completes my day. Wanted to get an hour or two in, but no.

Everything was fine yesterday. Played Guardians of the Galaxy for a couple of hours, but now it just sticks me at a black screen. Tried Trek to Yomi and same thing. But I never launched that before, so I tried Death's Door which I did start up once before and it gives me the Devolver logo before going to the same black screen.

Checked and none of my installed steam games are having this problem. So I'm guessing it's not a driver problem and more of a game pass launcher issue? This topic is mostly for me to vent, but if anyone has any advice by all means. I'm too worn down to really go searching for solutions tonight honestly.

kill the xbox app in task manager, open the microsoft store app and check that it doesn't need updating, the auto update is shit sometimes. also check that your subscription renewal went through if that is due. All I can think of that blanket affects all games.

Was simple as that. Checked for app updates and it said I had one for "Gaming Services". Never had to manually kickstart one before, but now I'll know.
