I don't see this as a big deal either way.

If a kid gets shown a drag show (that avoids nudity and sexual displays), it's not doom.
If kids miss out on going to drag shows because of an age limit....uh, it's not a big loss for them. Like at all.

the point is that its a bad precedent for society in general. People should be able to take their children to(non-nude/explicit) drag shows if they want to.

the people who want to ban this are the same ones who hand their kid an AR-15 and say my child my decision

He said he'd donate to a transgender charity if I provided a receipt that I did. I posted the receipt(and tagged him so he could see it), and he ignored it and kept arguing. I kept bothering him about it, because I feel like if you say you're going to donate to a charity, you should. This went over the course of multiple topics before he finally did, then he posted the receipt, I applauded him, then he blocked me.

Edit: LMAO. Saw his response. Tag the people you had also donate, yeah? I'm sure they're willing to post their receipts. I tried to get gunplagirl and Cyric to join in but they wouldn't even respond.

But it is hilarious the lengths people will go to defend it, even though it makes absolutely no sense to do so. You will defend the concept of a PG strip show/burlesque show but when there are actual events that that ARE PG and revolve around drag, you lump shit like this in with stuff like the drag queens that read with kids.

Which means people will assume every single drag event is to be similar to the one which everyone views as the worst possible attempt.

I still say that drag shows are generally sexual in nature, but the government shouldn't be the one deciding whether or not kids should go. It's not something they put any thought into, just reactionary bullshit.
