I love shows about old Hollywood. This is really, really entertaining.

Saw the trailer, didn't look good, maybe it's supposed to feel cheap but looks like they're trying to hard, like Oscar bait or whatever it is for TV.

Also Miles Teller isn't a good actor.

It's really good. I'm an old movie buff so maybe I'm partial to it, but it's gripping for sure. Miles Teller is a lot better than some of the actors who are out there today.

I'm interested in the story, I've read the books and seen the movies.

I don't think he's great actor but that's not to say I haven't watch movies with him in it, like 'Bleed for This' and 'Whiplash' but I feel like the story and/or the script makes up for his lack of talent. I just find him boring

Miles really takes the lead in this one. Maybe it is a little bit of Emmy bait but in fairness I would be shocked if the guy who plays Robert Evans in this movie doesn't at least get nominated

I have it on my list, I'll give it a go when the series finishes up. I just remember rolling my eyes during the trailer whenever they showed Miles or even worst Giovanni Ribisi, who is a good actor, he just had some cringy lines in the trailer.

I do like Mathew Goode and Juno Temple so maybe it'll be worth a watch.
