Even though every job could use a pay bump, it's mostly the terrible work life balance and idiotic mini responsibilities you have to put up with that makes workers quit and never come back... Why work at Kohl's dealing with customer attitudes and you cant even leave the building during your break, when I could just do DoorDash for more money and less BS?

I have seen employers complain about gig jobs without realizing when they are appealing to young people. Places like Uber and Door dash have plenty of problems but they give people a level of freedom that is appealing. Yet instead of trying to improve their work place to be more appealing to employees they just complain no one wants to work there.
