Anyways wish it wasn't. I liked 2 more. Liked her hair more but while still being heavily sexualized Nintendo did seem to tone it down ever so slightly. Like make it harder to see her ass due to those hair things hanging off her arms. Sure she had something similar in 1 but it wasn't as wide. Also her outfit just looked better in 1

Also before anyone says anything bayonettas whole deal was being overly sexualized. It's like Sega felt they could beat devil may cry with the sex sells angle.

Side note I was happy to see a few dmc references in 2.

Pretty sure her redesign was entirely Platinum. Nintendo actually directed them to make Bayo's Link costume in the first game sexier so I don't think they'd tone her down outside of like, Smash and other crossovers.

That didn't happen at all
Nintendo complained that they covered her up too much for some of her costumes and requested that she be more revealing.

2 and 3 are because Nintendo funded them. They literally wouldn't exist without Nintendo

Either way it was a shame. Wish I could have that hairstyle on her original outfit.

I hated her hair at first on the 1st game. It had to grow on me. No pun intended

Not yet. I think it's supposed to be out this year.

But yeah, only Bayonetta 1 can be released on other consoles. Bayonetta 2 and 3 are Nintendo-exclusive because Nintendo funded both in full.

My brother and I did find it hilarious that Nintendo the company stereotyped as being family friendly decided that they wanted one of the most sexualized characters for themselves.

i actually remember the reverse. once bayonetta 2 was revealed as coming to wii u only there were tons of people crying about it, i think even to the point of death threats against the creator

That link outfit looks ridiculous. I like the peach and daisy ones outside her arms clipping through it a lot.
