Except my goth phase I guess. I was legit goth but I used it as an excuse too to wear eyeliner lipstick and paint my nails. Well, the big things I did myself, of course: I came out, I finally feel like I have my own little wardrobe with its own sort of flair, and I'm dating an incredible woman. I've learned a lot about what lies ahead, and have connected with a lot of great LGBTQ+ people online. As far as the physical: holy shit, I have boobs! Honest-to-God breasts that are all mine! The fat's starting to go to (other) good places as well. And, of course, my skin is butter soft and my body hair has mostly gotten to a point that I'm happy with it. Even my face has softened a little. And, while it's not hormone-driven, my hair is finally getting nice and long. As for the year ahead, being on HRT for one year means CT Medicaid (Husky) will cover laser hair removal (which my hair is good for. I can always get electrolysis later) and an orchiectomy, which I might get just because I hate spironolactone so much, assuming there's someone who takes Medicaid nearby who will do it so those vital tissues aren't damaged. ~~I just want to sleep through one night without having to get up to pee, ok?
