Yes you can get covid multiple times, in fact I heard at this point the average person should expect to get covid twice a year. And while the previous posters are correct in saying that we don't know if the second time you get covid will be worse or not, for most people you'll generally have a better response the second time you get covid.

All those times he had covid is essentially their vaccination lol. Man basically got the 2 shots and booster "vaccine" in the most dangerous possible way.

Is he alright though?

I just want to point out that coronaviruses are known to induce increased susceptibility to future infections, and we have known this for decades with animal coronaviruses. There's no reason to believe that this coronavirus is any different, which means the "everyone should get infected and it'll go away" argument is not only unethical, it's likely the opposite of the truth.

Damn, that's honestly the first time I've ever heard of that. Throughout this pandemic all I've heard was that the body will eventually adapt to covid due to previous infections and/or vaccinations and in due time covid will be reduced to a cold like sickness for most people. From what you're saying not only is that wrong, it's having the opposite effect. Well damn

The problem is that coronaviruses generate lots of non-neutralizing antibodies. Essentially, by tricking your body into pumping out antibodies that don't actually neutralize the virus, future infections occur more quickly because the few neutralizing antibodies you do have are dramatically under-produced relative to the others. And those infections only bolster the production of the useless antibodies, not the neutralizing ones. So the more times you're infected, the more bad antibodies you make.

There's even emerging evidence that this is the case in humans.

Have had it twice. Second time was less severe and didn't last as long, but has also been far worse as far as long-term residual symptoms go here.

Ron DeSantis likely doomed countless children to a lifetime of suffering, but thanks to a combination of disturbingly pervasive misinformation, indoctrination, ignorance and a pathologic distrust of expertise, he'll never be held accountable. Despite the fact that his state did worse than literally any other state (or country) in the world during the Summer of 2021, he's viewed as a COVID hero. Hell, he even boasts about cases "going down 95%" after he basically set every COVID record ever for new cases. Because that's how basic math works, Ron.

I've had it once after two doses of the vaccine, and even through that it hit me hard enough that I knew if I wasn't vaccinated I would have died on a ventilator.

Still have some shortness of breath and mind fog from it.
