Okay I got this phone two days ago.. trying to figure out. My old phone only speaker was the one at it's ear piece where you put your ear to listen. New one has speakers also on the bottom of phone and the ear piece speaker. I wanna switch from bottom speaker to ear one because for some games it's easier to hear when holding the phone vertical as if you use the bottom speakers your hand blocks the sound

On most phones made after the mid-2010s, the earpiece and bottom/side speaker act as as a pair, with left-and-right audio channels. Depending on your phone and what's on Google Play, you might be able to find some obscure accessibility setting that defaults to mono audio output.

@CRON I have a setting on here for mono output. Turned it on but still coming out of bottom speaker only. I slid it to the left side, still bottom sound, then to the right side, still bottom sound. There must be something easier we missing? They couldn't expect people to honestly block the speakers with their hands when holding their phone vertical right?

Sorry I messed up this post by saying vertical. I meant when. The phone is horizontal
