My request to join was rejected because I'm on a low level account

Why do they even allow requests if they plan to reject them from someone for just having low karma?

Judged by my user level and not the content of my posts. Tragic.

I admit I assumed it was because I was on a low level account, I didn't actually get a reason. But they would have no reason to suspect me of wrong doing, soooo

Clearly. It's so much worse these days then when I started out... Ironically I'm just making a new account over and over and getting tested like I'm new lol

Mostly the part that makes me salty is they don't just restrict the board to higher used levels, they let you request entry and then refuse it. Like, you let me request to get in, I assumed it was so I had to make a show of good faith. But then I got rejected without a chance to prove myself. Do they just like to hurt poor newbies fee fees? Get their hopes up and dash them.

It's not just that they clearly want to make sure trolls aren't there by having restrictions that bothers me so much as they allow requests and refuse them on the basis of ???. They should just set a base karma requirement and not allow requests if they don't feel like accepting requests.
