My plans to visit my dad for his birthday this weekend got cancelled when he told me he came down with the shingles Curious about whether or not I had the shot, I called up my mom and she said I never got it because she kinda "just figured" I'd get the disease eventually as a kid Are there any risks to getting the shot now as a nearly-30 y/o man? My parents always told me I had chicken pox when I was a baby, but I got tested for antibodies when I was 22 and turns out I never had it. No issues at all when I got the chicken pox vaccine, it was 2 shots a few weeks apart though. --- Hello world! ... Copied to Clipboard!

I got the chickenpox as a baby. I still have the scars on my face --- I'm a Taurus I like collecting headphones and iems. My fave game of all time is DMC 3 SE on PC w/ style switch mod. IMO it the best button masher on earth ... Copied to Clipboard!

Did you have it as a kid in the end? It's certainly can be more serious as an adult, than a child but there are vaccines you can get, but it's not a standard one you give without reason. 2 shots a monthish apart, I believe. --- Let's make biscuits! ... Copied to Clipboard!

I'm glad my parents got me the vaccine when it came out. I remember a bunch of kids getting it in elementary school, but I didn't worry so much since I had gotten the vaccine. If you've never had chickenpox or the vaccine, I'd recommend getting the vaccine asap. Chickenpox can be more serious for adults than children. --- Many Bothans died to bring you this post. ...
