12 years ago I graduated from High School and a friend got me a gift for traduation. It was a pretty cool gift relating to a hobby we both enjoy.

I got swept up in the college rush and left him behind. Didnt even go to his graduation a year later.

We ended up falling out, eventually he said he understood what happened when he got swept up in college.

We reconnected years later, and then disconnected again.

But really, this is about the gift. I never returned the favor. Ive felt like I should for a long time, but thought it would be weird.

Should I give him a gift? Our current relationship is a brief conversation on each others birthdays and the occassional bitching about a new movie that came out.

12 years ago? No. He probably doesn't remember, and even if he does, he doesn't care.
