inaccuracies in movies or TV shows ruin it for me. As well as if they break their own logic. I LOVE jets, planes, helicopters, etc. So I finally decided to watch Top Gun and when they were engaged by a "Mig28"(which isn't real to begin with) was a F5 painted black. I literally couldn't watch the movie after that. I kept thinking, "Okay, obviously at that time they couldn't get a MIG(a real one) for a movie, so why didn't they they just use the damn F5 and say some rouge nation or group stole a squadron of F5s and that was the enemy" Or something like that. --- http://media.tumblr.com/tumblr_m0ajm6lGqf1qekkfi.gif ... I assume movies exist in their own time space continuum. As such a Mig28 might exist in their reality even if it looks like an F5 painted black from this reality. I use the same reasoning to explain why in some movies breaking out into song and spontaneous choreographed dance is seen as socially acceptable. --- No locked doors, no windows barred. I have this problem too (not specifically top gun). Whenever a movie is historically inaccurate or has some science that I can see is wrong it really irks me because I'm not a historian or scientist.
