it was for the topic about the buffalo shooters bedroom. Apparently it was actually a GameFAQs mods dream room and they got a little upset.

for the record, i get called racist because i had the audacity to call out a very real group of men in India who have made it so female tourists are urged to travel there with a bodyguard. In doing so i called them animals, so the actual racists here seem to hold that against me while they bring up black on black crime stats.

its so prominent and talked about that it has its own wikipedia article, and me calling it out or being frustrated that i've been lumped into that statistic by no fault of my own is somehow a bad thing? i really don't care about this place but i'm not gonna let my name be lied on because racists here badly want something to hold against me. Admittedly in my rant i was very angry, but i have reason to be. Never said it was all indians, never attacked the entire nation...I just pointed out that its a very real problem. i didn't mean to call EVERY indian that. but my post also didn't expressly say every indian. It was anger towards the ones who have made that a very prominent statistic there. its a huge problem and pretending like it isn't just so you have something over is kind of sad.

"The people who call out my racism are the real racists" sounds pretty familiar. And most of the people who called you out are just as against black discrimination. Sounds like you're trying to use your vocal support for black rights as a cover to be racist against other ethnicities.

it is night and day but my intent was never to say all indians are rapists. just that the nation as a whole has problems with it and its frustrating being wrapped into that. Indias supreme court somewhat recently ruled that it can't be considered rape if there was no skin to skin contact. IE, if they grope someone over their clothing. That kind of thing is commonplace there. so much so that female tourists are told to travel in groups or with bodyguards. I apologize if my rambling came off as overly emotional but its extremely frustrating and many men in india thinking that's normal, and having to be faced with that myself is extremely troubling. I'm speaking from inside the culture. a culture i want to do better. i'm not going to excuse things like that because some people on CE think its racist.
