I actually reserved my copy of the second evolution's strategy guide at my local gamestop but something happened and barely any stores got shipment for them. Had to go to the gamestop damn near the next county over just for this guide. Funny enough most of the guide's contents is the exact same as the original star ocean 2 physical guide for the PS1 version, but the new guide has all the new private actions and whatnot in it so its cool. I like collecting the physical guides for jrpgs in general, and star ocean's guides are usually some of the best ones. (There was that sort of huge mistake in the last hope's guide that will lock you out of a ending if you followed it though, lol. It was the reimi ending if I remember correctly). Star ocean 5's guide had the most effort put into it with a nice hardcover despite the game itself being "eh", lol. All these years and my hatred of the twist has yet to falter, lmao.
