That's my peanut butter! Lot number and everything! Our family was all just sick, but I still think some kind of stomach bug from my younger day care is more likely.

damnit I just bought a 40 ounce jar with one of those upc codes

edit: actually we have 3 jars that all fall within the recall but only 1 is open

Just checked, the jars we have in our house arent the ones included in the recall.

i remember when the gov experimented with nuking our food for like a split second to make sure no pathogens were in it wasnt very popular personally rather that than get food poisoning from tainted food

It's like how around Easter there was a huge recall by Kinder for a number of their products potentially being contaminated with salmonella. Like, literally chocolate.

Like these companies need to get their fucking shit together.
