I believe SBAllen doesn't actually look at suspensions; rather, GameFAQs suggests a default penalty based on karma and moderation history (and possibly the category of violation the suspension falls under) and SBAllen just rubber-stamps it. I remember him saying a few years ago that the rules are just up to the interpretation of the mods and he trusts them so I imagine if a mod says '7 day purg' he just agrees It's a bit disturbing but at the end of the day consdering this websight was always known as one of the shittiest in terms of rule enforcement since it started in 1998 with forums, I'm not surprised it's still this bad --- they be bumpin they be rulin ...
