...separation. It would be highly conditional, of course, but it should still be possible. Like maybe an extended window prior to receiving benefits or needing some adjudication of cause but I think there are valid justifications for someone to still get unemployment even if they made the decision to exit a job. For instance if you left a company to take a job but then that start date gets pushed out (something like this happened to me) maybe you should be able to apply for unemployment and the incoming company should have to foot the bill since it was their call to extend your unemployment period. --- Remember kids: whatever doesn't kill you can be used as the basis for a lawsuit and a big settlement. ...
