This is not about empathy it is kill the enemy ok but do not make it personal for a non combatant. Doing shit like this is how you create a new problem because some peoples loved ones will not only be upset but they will decide to join the fight because you just pissed them off and mocked them.

Very often when this happens the propaganda this hurt person creates can shift other people from indifferent or sympathetic to fuck those people, they do deserve to be invaded.

This one random asshole could have just given the russian invasion flipped the script moment NOT in Ukraines favor.

It's incredibly absurd and armchair-y to expect Ukrainian soldiers on the ground to make the intellectual distinction between the kabal of people at the top ordering the invasion of Ukraine and the Russian soldiery carrying out said invasion.

I'm in no way criticizing the Ukrainian soldier for defending his homeland against the invading forces. Taking his cell phone to mock a mourning woman in another country...that is just disgusting.

I'm extremely ok with this. Psychological warfare is part of warfare, and creating backlash against Putin inside Russia is a valid strategy. Maybe dude could have been more polite about it but
