While playing the game, if I want to quit the game:

1. Press button to bring up options menu.
2. Select Return to Title.
3. Confirm I wish to return to title screen.
4. Wait for title screen to load.
5. Press button to cancel intro title screen animation.
6. Select Begin Story.
7. Select Quit Game.
8. Confirm I wish to quit the game.

For fuck's sake, just let me exit the game lol. Obviously, Okami is an old game, but Valkyria Chronicles is like this too, and it's not that old of a game compared to Okami.

I'm assuming this is for PS2, before we had standardized homescreen face buttons?

A few years ago, I was showing some of my younger cousins (all born a bit after 2000) Mike Tysons Punch-Out on an actual NES. Of all things, they were legit impressed that you could reset a game and be back at the start screen in like 1/2 a second.

I hadnt really thought about it before then how restarting a game is much more of a process these days.

Oh yeah, it's on Steam. I didn't know about that. I'll do that next time lol. It still irks me that they'd design games this way.
