Dude ran a red light because he was either super tired or high on something and totaled my car.

Actually worked out for the best at that time because it had funky transmission issues and I hated it.

I've been in one as a passenger.

We were driving through an intersection and some dumbass kid made an illegal turn and we plowed right into him. Then we got hit by the driver behind us. Thankfully nobody was seriously hurt.

I lost count, but I'm pretty sure it's over 20 at this point.

Thankfully no. I've had several near misses though because of stupid drivers.

Like the time a guy decided that he needed to make an immediate left turn from the right side of the road. So suddenly I'm staring at the driver's dude of his suv while I'm slamming on my brakes... Some people don't need to be behind the wheel

i was rear ended once but i wasn't injured, and they gave me a bunch of money.

i had another close call where some idiot cut me off and i span out, but i ended up in the car pool lane pointing forward and just drove off lmao

When I was like 6 I was riding in the very back of a station wagon and we got rear ended at a red light >_> that was pretty scary because I saw it coming right at me but luckily she slowed most of the way down

never been in one while driving other than me and this girl backing into each other at the same time in a parking lot because it was raining and neither of us could see

Yes. My car was totalled by a bus. I walked away with a sore shoulder.

Oh yeah. I was 24, dozed off driving back real late to my parents and rolled my car in and out of a ditch, hit a motel sign and landed the car upright. Got a head scratch.

Definitely lucky.

I've had minor fender benders in parking lots, for accidents I've had when I'm the driver. Only time the cops were called, no fault was issued. Other times were their fault or both at fault (we were backing out at angles, didn't see each other)

When I was 11,got in an accident. Dude rear ended us because he was going too fast in a storm and couldn't stop in time. No real injuries overall.

Got in an accident while riding the school bus. Dude leaned down to retrieve some keys (as was told to me) and swerved into the bus. Took me to the hospital because I said my should was sore (more from the shock, not from hitting anything).

Nope, just traffic and parking tickets.

When I was about 8, our car slipped on black ice and slid over a bank and into a tree. No injuries, not much damage to the car.

At 9 we had a big one. It happened on the 4th of July. A guy and his friends had been out partying all night, they passed out driving home and swerved into our lane as we went over a hill. Head on collision at about 55 mph. Both vehicles were totally destroyed, serious injuries to everyone in both vehicles. Fortunately, no fatalities, but several of us have life long problems due to it.

At about 16 or so, a dog dashed out in front of us. Mom swerved to miss it, we jumped a ditch and ended up in an empty field.

Iirc, that's all the ones I've been in. Brother and parents were in more, but I was home and they were all minor.

I've had two, both by hitting deer.

When I was in high school, my mom took a left turn across the highway that resulted in a minivan plowing into my door. Thankfully the Durango protected us well (totaled in the process) and I came away with just a bad bruise on that leg.

As a driver, not really. My neighbor across the street and I backed into each other one day, lol (difficult to see cars coming from either direction where our driveways were, sure we were both just looking back and forth), but no damage. Had someone back into me in a parking lot, and another time where I discovered a huge dent in my passenger door that I had no idea where it came from.

Yes, four times. Also very VERY narrowly avoided a fifth a few weeks ago.

First one was going around a corner and had to take evasive action from a car coming the other way taking it too wide, but went too hard and went off the road and crashed in a ditch. Fucked that car up, I wasn't hurt though.

Second one was going too fast around a roundabout. Slid off the road, into mud. Needed a tow out of the mud but was fine apart from that.

Third was my sister driving, I was just in the car. She panicked while reversing out of an extremely busy carpark and hit a parked car. No major damage or injuries, just a few paintwork scratches.

Fourth one I was borrowing my mom's car cause mine broke down, she was really slack about cleaning and the windscreen was dirty, sunstroke meant I couldn't see a thing, tried to pull over but hit another car in the process. Her car was fucked, the other car was damaged but able to be repaired. No injuries again.

The near miss was as I was coming up to a turnoff, the car behind me failed to slow down. I noticed this and kept going forward, managing to barely avoid being hit - but the car behind that one, crashed into it, and then the one behind that crashed into them too. I didn't even realize this had happened until I came through the area again an hour later and saw the crashed vehicles and recognized the front one as the car I'd avoided earlier. No idea if there were injuries, but there was serious damage to all 3 vehicles that were involved.

Ive totaled 3 cars since I started driving. All their fault of course.
