I wonder if it'll change to 19 or remain the same.

Wait wut. I didn't know their's was that high

In some cases its more.

If you are born one December 31st, youre 2 years old on January 1st. So someone born on January 1st is a full year younger than someone born on December 1st, usually, however they have a thing to where if youa re born in Jan or Feb you can be considered the year prior so youll be in the same grade.

18 wasnt the age of majority previously but I suppose it may become so after this. So rather its like your 19 or 20 yo gf could be 18 now. :/

Our ages/birthdates are not changed when we immigrate to Korea. Our ID cards reflect our non-Korean ages. The only time my Koreanized age is needed is when someone asks me what my Korean age is in casual conversation.

The only people this affects are Korean citizens.

19 is the standard age limit for smoking, drinking, R-rated movies, voting, etc... So I wouldn't be surprised if it was grouped in with those things and kept at the standard age 19.
