I do. As far as I know, I've had it my entire life, but I had a lot of ear infections when I was a kid, so I imagine it began around that time. I know that I was mostly grown before I learned what tinnitus was and that everyone didn't just hear a ringing.

Luckily, it's really only noticeable when it's completely silent, so a simple fan is enough to alleviate any issue.

Had it since i was like 5 years old. I had ear infection and couldnt say words with letter "R" properly as a result (that is what my mommy and health care lady and speech teacher told me)

Huh, I had a fairly bad speech impediment when I was a kid too, maybe that's why.

I'll get it every now and then, but it always goes away after a few seconds. Happens pretty rarely, too.

I also had to see a speech therapist because I had trouble enunciating my Rs. Thought it was just because I was a dumb 6 year old that couldn't speak it properly.

I've got 6 tones, 3 in each ear. 1 set I've had for a long time, the others were brought on recently from noise exposure damage and a procedure on my ear drums

always slight, practically nothing, suddenly really really bad in one ear starting a couple years ago. so bad i couldn't sleep, even cried at night because i was basically robbed of the one thing i could always enjoy at the end of the day. i started making sure to listen to my headphones at a reasonable volume and lately it seems better. it flares up badly now and then, but it's usually weak and comfortably tuned out with other things to focus on

Thats how it is for me too. I had multiple ear infections as a kid and the doctor said that if my ear drum had burst one more time I probably wouldve gone deaf. I didnt know that tinnitus existed until I saw the movie Baby Driver and thats when I noticed that I always have a ringing in my ears.
