Current Events > Okay CE, best console Ace Combat and best Handheld Ace Combat?

Haven't played 6 and only just started 7 yesterday so I can't speak for them yet. As it stands for me, console wise it's AC5: Unsung War and AC Assault Horizon Legacy (contrary to the title it has nothing to do with the console Assault Horizon, instead it's a remake of Ace Combat 2.)

Zero for Consoles. Though 4 has a special place in my heart, and 3 is really goddamn interesting.
Joint Assault is the only Handheld one I've played though. It was aight, had great music though.

Handheld: Joint Assault
Console: AC 2

My fave is still AC3, but AC4 and AC5 were both up there. Some of the others I played past that era were okay, but didn't do as much for me. AC7 had that sweet mission with the mountains and thunderstorms (fog?), though, so that needs to be mentioned.

Console: Ace Combat Zero
Handheld: Ace Combat X: Skies of Deception

If you've got a 3DS and PSP I'd highly recommend X and X2(PSP) and Assault Horizon Legacy (3DS) they're not as good as the console games (even though AHL is a remake of AC2, a console game lol) but they're still well worth playing

Console: AC5, closely followed by 4 and 0, although pretty much the entire series is worth playing.
Handheld: ACX.
