I haven't played Fortnite in years, but that seemed to be my experience with it. I could get 3rd place sometimes, but the final 2 were always two guys who could vomit out these gigantic towers within a second of seeing someone. It seems like a weird thing to get rid of though, because wasn't that the entire draw of the game? But when you can carry enough materials to make it basically impossible to run out, the hardcore sweats would literally just build buildings around you, edit in a little window and shoot you and then close it all before you could even react. Even if you tried to react by destroying the walls, theyd just build more at a much faster rate than you could destroy them. It was zero fun. --- Phantom Dust.
