Heard for most it's only a couple of weeks, but seems like a lot are closer to 6 months+ now.

It's been about five months since I had COVID and my sense of smell is still weak. I was a huge alcoholic too so consider that.

Taste came back after like a month.

When I had covid I lost my taste for one day and my smell for about a week. That was kinda trippy, found out because I sprayed some febreze, didnt smell anything. So I sprayed some more, and was like, wait. Went out and told my roomies I had covid and than 2 days later they couldnt taste or smell either.

I got Covid on the day it was announced and haven't tasted since. It's all good though because I can juat eat rice and beans for every meal. It costs me next to nothing.

I did not keep track but it definitely was not 6 months. I turned it into positive and just ate healthier nasty tasting foods since i couldnt taste. But its been back for a while now.

My wife had Covid last year and regained most of her lost senses after a couple months.

I probably had it back when pandemic first started, had all of the classic symptoms except loss of taste/smell

Had it for sure start of year, tested positive, never lost sense of taste/smell then either

sick again now, but this is probably a cold >_>

Lasted about 3 days for me.

I caught it on December 2020, before there was delta, omicron, and whatever shit they're calling it now.

My only symptom was loss of smell, and it lasted for a good 40-45 days. Edit: Gotta admit it slowly came back over the course of 30-45 days.

I had it in December 2020 and lost my sense of taste and smell for maybe about a week or so.

Wife lost about 75% of both for nearly 8 months until it went back to somewhat normal. It's been a year and a half and she still isn't 100% but much closer.

I lost my taste buds only and it lasted a week

My smell was gone for 4-5 months I think?

Never lost taste beyond the hit from no smell takes.

Lost both the same day, but came back after 2 weeks.
