It called the Pepper Jack, at a place in Glasgow called Bread Meats Bread in 2014. IIRC it was beef braised in Dr Pepper on top of a beef burger with gherkins and a sauce. Here's a picture (ignore the frame).

Now I'm sad.

As corny as its going to sound... moms hamburgers. Nothing fancy. Ketchup, Mustard, Cheese Whiz, Relish, Crispy Onions. But I can down 2-3 of them in one go.

There used to be a restaurant in Dallas called the Grape -- they only served the burgers on Monday and in limited quantity (I think when I got there at around 6 I got one of the last 4 burgers).

Absolutely amazing and delicious. They closed unfortunately.

Black bean burger with caramelized onions, jalapeo jam, herb crema, and queso fresco. Might also have been arugula, idr. It was the first veggie burger I ever had, and I ordered it as a joke at a restaurant known (well, locally anyway) for their burgers. I was amazed to find it was one of the tastiest things I've ever eaten. I've been chasing down other veggie burgers since then, but I've never found anything that compares .

in summer 2017 i swung by a mcdonalds i don't usually go to around 3 in the afternoon and got a regular cheeseburger. that cheeseburger was so gotdang good i thought i had traveled back in time to the 1960s somehow and eaten one of the burgers that made mcdonalds the juggernaut bitch in the first place. it was a cheeseburger dreams are made of

usually wagyu beef from grocery outlet, otherwise wa state beef, homemade bacon, my goose or duck eggs, my jalapeos, my lettuce peanut butter and jelly (usually raspberry, hopefully French) with cave aged cheese. I will destroy your palate.

I've made some fantastic burgers myself.

But in a restaurant, there's a place called Solita in Manchester that does one called the Manchattan. It's on a Lancashire oven bottom, has 2 burger patties, Lancashire cheese, pastrami, a black pudding slice and American style mustard mixed with Lancashire sauce.

I like a thick burger, medium rare, with provel cheese(yes, yes, it's processed, but it melts well) sauteed onions, sauteed mushrooms, and raw onion(I really like onions). There's a place in South St. Louis County called Schottzie's Bar And Grill that I used to go to with my parents on a near weekly basis back in the day. I don't cotton "smashed" burgers.
