He had been studying for years and was promising in med-school with a healthy social-life including going on dates. When he won $7,000,000 in a lottery. He choose to take the long-term annuity payout to get his money in installments.

He bought a cheap apartment (That's flat to the English users) and just plays video games and eats takeout (takeaway) all day. Doesn't spend time with anyone else and shows no interesting a romantic relationship.

He says he doesn't need/want to do anything else because he's set for life as he is earning more than he spends doing nothing.

As a parent, how would you react?
What would you do?

I kinda wish he would at least go out and exercise sometimes, maybe travel a bit, but it's his life, his money, he can do whatever he wants

I'd disown him because this is wrong!

Dude was able to get through med school with a social life. He's clearly the chosen one.

Who am I to argue with the chosen one?

Hey he's rich now and I may end up depending on him to take care of me when I'm older. Let him be happy. When I'm old and decrepit if all he does is throw money at the problem. That's better than him just stuffing me in a nursing home and calling it a day.

I'd talk to him about it from time to time to see if he's truly content, but I'd just let him be.

Not much I could do anyway if he's an adult.

If the person is smart enough to get into med school he should be smart enough to finish what he started and put his winnings into savings. Doubt he would quit unless he really really did not care.

I'd try to get him to have some semblance of a social life, and if I paid for the education he dropped out of, ask him to pay me back small amounts over time. Other than that, whatever he wants.
