FelineCyborg 05/03/22 2:56:43 AM #1:	I've dipped and dabbled in normality lately. Going out, but still wearing a mask indoors (I like bars with outside patios) unless I'm around a friend in a house. Should I just go full blown fuck it all and ditch the mask and live life? Everybody is saying omicron is just like a cold and my booster was in beginning of November. Honestly covid probably fucked me way harder then it would have if I just got it. I caught it in March and was lucky to get it mildly, but it's definitely made me veer toward well fuck it it's not going anywhere is it - I can't hide in my house forever. I'm going on two years now as being the only person in my place of work who regularly wears a mask. It's tough to maintain sometimes, and were I younger and a little more impressionable, I probably would've buckled by now. Point is, no one else should make that decision for you. If you feel more comfortable keeping your mask on around other people, even friends, then do so. If they give you a hard time about it, maybe it's something that you can easily brush off with a laugh, or maybe it really gets to you; at which point you have to either be honest and appeal to their decency to ease up on you, or see less of them. You don't have to be so afraid that you become a shut in. You can go out and socialize, but just be smart about it. Since covid, I've gone to theme parks 3 times, and the movies 5 times. My friends are all vaccinated and take covid seriously. So I'm comfortable being in close proximity with them. We mask up when around people outside of our group. FaultyCircuitry posted... I started last summer doing normal stuff, I have never gotten covid so its all good.
