Shino was cool. He was a product of shitty writing, where everyone except Naruto and Sasuke were low tier by Shippuden.

Even "the strongest" hokage Hiruzen was clearly a pushover compared to the insane shit we saw in Shippuden.

At least he's a cool teacher.

Shino could have anyone beat. All he has to do is tag them. Temari would have been over with if he had tagged her and even a blitz attacker like Kankuro could only tie with him despite Kankuro having all the advantage. It's why Kishi wrote him out of the story.

Shino vs Kankuro is unironically one of my favorite fights. Dude's cool but was never allowed to be important.

Team 8 as a whole got shafted hard.

Had shino gone on dat "bring back ______" arc, shino would have rekt and da mission wouldn't have failed tbh
