Mr_Mushroom 04/30/22 10:50:16 AM #17:	sims 3 is the best imo, but it's so poorly optimized that i rarely ever play it. sims 1 and 2 are great, but both feel really dated. i cant play either since i lost the discs years ago which sucks because i still have all of the sims 2 expansion discs.. sims 4 isn't amazing, has way less stuff than 3, but runs very well on every PC i've tried playing it on, even my parents micro-PC can run it. i play this one the most and just make stupid characters put in stupid situations honorable mention goes to urbz which was a really fun ps2 game, i think it was on gba too --- i like to think that im a funguy <cite>Mr_Mushroom posted [p:964684403] in Best Sims ... There's just something about it that makes it special even if later games are technically better. The music is a significant part of that I think. I have several memories playing it and the expansions. I still remember getting the base game at Circuit City and couldn't wait to get home. Installing felt like it took forever. I even remember getting/playing most of the expansions for the first time too. I loved all of them, but I think I enjoyed Superstar the most. Becoming a famous actor, model, or singer was fun. I probably have played 2 more than 1 by now. I've had so much fun with it as well. I didn't hear good things about 3 and 4 so I never progressed after 2. I had the first PS2 game. I don't like how nickel and dime-y Sims 4 feels with the cost of all the expansions though. They are apparently working on 5. I hope it really improves on the Sim creation. I don't need any "adult game" features like genital customization, but I would love to have more control over body shape. Let me adjust the size of butts, thighs, waists, stomachs, etc., independently of each other instead of a slider that just makes everything bigger or smaller. Like, let me make a sim that's skinny with a beer belly.
