Private companies that dont have them usually dont because the CEO thinks he knows better and doesnt want to slow down to run things by a board. That is my guess as to why he is doing it. Plus, after the early attempts to prevent his takeover there was no way he would want to work with any of them. He was going to get rid of them all anyway. Hes a narcissist that has successfully built two giants beasts of companies.
