Back to back 10-pulls with C1 being a 50/50 pity win around pull 70. C3 was an accidental hard pity break (ugh) Then I deliberately went for C4 but that took me like 100 pulls Then C5 and C6 were two pulls apart, but only 30 pulls after C4 So I think I got seven Ayakas in around 300 total pulls which is kind of amazing. DarkRoast 05/15/22 9:27:10 AM #196:	I'm going out on a limb here and saying Diluc is actually still one of the strongest DPSes in the game, and if Hu Tao didn't exist would probably be considered S-rank. He's INCREDIBLY good, and also has some of the lowest gear investment requirements of any character ever. Diluc's hang up is that it's super hard to get cons, there's no good claymore in general (most cases Serpent Spine is BIS), and he needs one of the most contested support characters in the game to be useful (Xingqiu). If Diluc had a weapon as good as Staff of Homa, he'd probably be on-par with Hu Tao (better at AOE, worse at single target). Diluc is also extremely consistent with his DPS. Most other Main DPS characters have some kind of consistency issues (at least at C0) whereas Diluc is basically always doing good damage. This is one of the reasons why Ganyu is still considered top-tier - she isn't necessarily the strongest at any one role, but she can keep the DPS going non-stop, and over time that adds up. Consistency is actually an issue I have with Ayato. Much is said about him not having the crazy cooldown issues Childe (potentially) has, but the fact is that he only does good on-field DPS in short bursts, interspersed with cooldowns. This is a big problem for high-energy-requirement sub DPS characters like Xiangling, who need an enabler that can stay on the field vaping for the entirety of her pyronado. I'm in the minority in this belief, but I honestly think Childe is more future-proof than Ayato because of this one issue. Ayato just doesn't play well with most rotations except current electro units. In addition, Childe's ultimate is vastly more useful as an on-field DPS than Ayato's. If anything, Ayato's burst has negative synergy with forward vape and some other setups.
