one reason.
i'm learning a bunch of stuff constantly, which means i need to google search concepts, lessons, etc.

how come in 2022, with google owning both google search AND youtube, with my gmail account logged into both...
how come i can't fucking save a search result that's a youtube video to my "watch later" directly from google. instead i have to fucking click on the link, wait for youtubes shitty ass bloated site to load, save it to a playlist, and then close the tab.

Google is worth like 1 trillion. Musk had to get a loan to buy Twitter.

Musk couldn't afford Google. I'm surprised he could spend that much on Twitter. I wonder how much of his money is liquid.

Yeah, let's give the rich megalomaniac full access to a company that hosts military secrets for multiple countries. What could go wrong?

None of it is liquid. He borrowed money to do what's called a leveraged buyout where the thing he's buying assumes responsibility for paying back the borrowed money.

The best part is it's not going to be able to pay it back

YEP. A majority of the 53 billion dollars are funds borrowed from Morgan Stanley that will be used to buy Twitter.

That Twitter has to pay back. But it's Musk's deal now.

The banks have essentially already determined that they could recoup their money by dissolving the enterprise or else they wouldn't have given him the loan.

What's going to happen most likely is massive layoffs as the company starts penny pinching everything in order to pay off the debt. Revenue will likely go down as a result. Elon prints money, the shareholders print money, the banks print money, and the people who are fucked and get left with nothing are the employees who built it in the first place.

Yes. That's the high level overview of it.
