What buy

I currently have:

Player's Handbook
Dungeon Master's Guide
Monster Manual
Monsters of the Multiverse
Tasha's Cauldron of Everything
Van Richten's Guide to Ravenloft
Volo's Guide to Monsters
Xanathar's Guide to Everything
Curse of Strahd

I've never been a fan of Penny Arcade so I'm not sure how much I'd enjoy Acquisitions Incorporated or actually use the content inside, but added it to the list just to be fair since it is an official supplement. Ditto for Wildemount; I've never watched Critical Role, but keep meaning to. It's just hard to find time to sit down for the entire streams.

Strixhaven looks like a lot of fun so I'm kind of leaning towards that, but I also know there are a few players in my group who might appreciate the M:tG books even though I don't play it myself.

Anything not in the nine listed in the options are an adventure book that I probably won't really use because I tend to favor running homebrew campaigns and worlds (I do incorporate elements of official setting materials when I can, though) -- I mainly have Curse of Strahd as a fallback. But I included the Other option anyway in case somebody wants to recommend a really, really good one.

And before anybody mentions it, I intend to pre-order the Spelljammer bundle the second it becomes available.

SCAG adds nothing new if you've got Tashas and Xanathars.

Fizbans has so much new stuff.

GM who wishes his group had a second person willing to run games so I could be a player sometimes

This is kind of my ulterior motive for considering the MtG books, since it might inspire a few members of my group who play that game to sit in the GM chair

Yeah, I already have Monsters of the Multiverse. I feel like it makes Volo's fairly redundant now, if it does the same to Mordenkainen then I might just stop looking at that one altogether.

Since you have Xanathar's and Tasha's, I gotta go Fizban. Never hurts to have a handy guide on dragon related anything.

Cool, I'll go with Fizban then, since that seems to be the consensus. Thanks for the input, everyone :)

Take a look at the dragon treasury items.
They're a way to give players a magic items that can level as they play.
And some of their effects are amazing!
