everyone has one. new accounts, old accounts, accounts that don't even exist yet.
sure, it can be something humble like "being yourself" but what if that's not enough for some internet fun?

mine is this:
i'm absolutely terrified of posting a picture of myself online (i don't even have a facebook account anymore, but that's for another reason entirely, basically my ex-girlfriend was crazy and i had to delete it because of her, but that's besides the point), but for some reason i feel like i should post my picture online at least once.
so, what do i do? i try to push buttons, be a pest (look up nardwuar on the youtube, and you'll see why. maybe add a bit of a butchered attempt at trying to be like norm macdonald too in the mix (ok, not really, i'm not even funny enough to butcher norm-style comedy)), and then eventually be on everyone's ignore list (plz don't ignore me though, it's bad for my self esteem)

and then, one fateful day when my existence has been "snoozed" by everyone on gamefaqs, i'll post my selfie in a selfie topic. and the best part? unregistered users can't see this board, and with everyone ignoring me i'll be able to finally post a selfie of me (aka - yours truly) on the internet without fears of some weirdo creep saving it to their HDD (or SSD, or M.2, or SD if they're on a phone (not iphone or goold phone since they don't have a microSD))

ok, that's finally off my chest. now, CE, tell me - what's your gimmick? or are you too sane and well-adjusted to have one in the first place?

also i have another gimmick. it's me constantly trying and failing in life to get a gf. i can't even get a message on the internet from a girl, let alone a gf. that's not really a gimmick though, it's more of a core-aspect of my character's origin story. aka "cactuscat - he who has no gf, or even replies on the internet when he messages them" (but replace cactuscat with my real name, but i honestly hope none of you know that information, so for all intensive purposes, use cactuscat when reading that quote. which you probably did because i didn't put this disclaimer in parenthesis until after the quote containing the cactuscat which means it was written how i want you to read it anyway)
