Theres good and bad, I dont think the bad is half as bad as the good is good tho. Life is kinda challenging in the sense that for every person I talk to who understands completely that transitioning is making me a better person theres another who wants to push me back into being a man. Like one example is theres this supervisor that refuses to use my new name and I found out that theyve been addressing me by my dead name when speaking about me to others, giving the reason when corrected that I have not LEGALLY changed my name. So its like yeh that shit is just hurtful but then I told my actual boss and hes like well fuck that just do the name change and Ill cover the costs for now; I have a lot to be grateful for, I want to find a way to honor my boss for just how fuckin wonderful he has been during this whole thing.

other than that idk I got my legs waxed but I cant get the Brazilian until Thursday and my chest and stomach is like actually three weeks away. Ive been on the hormones for like 83 days now, and I get my next cycle from FedEx in a couple days. They had to change the concentration of my estradiol so my injection size is gonna be halved but they totally sent me 3mL syringes last time and I just dont think I will be able to accurately get a 0.15mL dose with those so Im really hoping they send 1mL ones this time cuz I cant find any that arent on Amazon.

I like that chair a lot but it shouldnt be in these photos.

How are you doing? Im not sure if I had just missed it if you posted an update but did you get that transfer to the department you were really excited about? If so, has that improved your sense of well-being related to your work situation?

I did, in fact, secure that transfer to Bakery, the queerest department. Customer Service is falling apart and I get to observe it from behind bread and cake.

i can be anywhere within two hours if its a five minute drive. Idk man it just depends on what else youre doing and stuff. I already have a career that Im satisfied with for now so I only have to work and then be alive. I think most of the other CEgals go to college and work and do family / social shit, pretty incredible tbh. Allocating motivation is a really personal challenge, and I know I have been unkind about how others spend theirs but Id like to become more understanding and keep myself respectful of the fact that if someone is giving a glimpse into their life via a photo one doesnt really see how much or how little of a struggle it was to get into that frame.

I dont know, its not supposed to be a lecture as much as it maybe reads like one lol

Was a weird day. Had a teacher tell me I was pretty and had a former football teammate jokingly asking me for my number throughout the day. At least I assumed he was joking.

Im not crossdressing

the black lipstick I have is quite difficult to work with, I need to have a lip liner to stop it from feathering, I think itd also benefit from a dry primer because not a lot of pigment comes off and it takes too long to set to do multiple coats. Tbh Ill probably just get the NYX alien liquid lippy at some point but my spring and summer wardrobe is gonna be pink and white this year.

I mean, what bad stuff would you be afraid of that would require courage to overcome if you did express yourself by dressing as a woman in public?

A lot of it came from DollsKill - the bodysuit, skirt, gloves, and headband. The choker was from Killstar. The wedges are Demonia. The harness and belt are like $3 accessories from Shein, and the tights are from Target. I think Target is amazing and I still shop at Killstar but I actually try not to use Shein and DollsKill specifically due to their theft of art work I found out about later.

I just felt the need to clarify because its come up on this board before, and it happens all the time on dating apps. I just dont understand why cis men use interactions with me to bring up their crossdressing fetishes. Like, OK? Why my topic? Why not any of the other goth topics? Why not start your own topic?

I dont like when people conflate crossdressing with being transgender, and discuss them as if theyre related issues. I feel whether its intentional or not, your message in the context of THIS topic, contributes to that continued misunderstanding. Crossdressing is a valid form of self expression, but from my understanding its absolutely not an LGBTQ+ thing.

Another thing in particular that bothered me about your message is I feel so uncomfortable when people describe me as having courage, when the truth is that you dont know what kind of coward I am. I dont know whats going to happen, yeh I could get attacked on the street, but I could also die if my carbon monoxide detector goes out. A lot of what gave me the freedom to come out and continues to allow me to self express as I wish is the fact that Im privileged enough that I have a beyond fair amount of insulation from genuine mortal harm. Of course there absolutely are trans people who are astonishingly brave and intrepid, and who serve as inspirations and deserve all the credit for illuminating the path for us; but I am not one of them and I dont want people to get that impression of me.

I think my sex life is suffering due to internalized homophobia. Every time I start getting intimate with a man I think about my dad calling me the f slur and hitting me any time I showed signs of effeminacy as a child. It really sucks, even if the hormones have left me with very little sex drive at the moment and Im not as interested in dating, this is gonna have to be solved at some point. Also, when I do get horny its completely unbearable, so itd be nice to have sex without experiencing a traumatic memory and breaking down. :/
