I dont blame him. If I had that car I would park like that too (2 spaces, not 4 though).

The parking spaces are stacked kind of weirdly, though. You can only enter them from one side but you can park in front of other cars so...how do they get out?

This was my first thought. With the spaces being numbered they may actually be assigned and this person clearly has money. Maybe they pay for an extra row to keep their vehicle safe.

The first thing I thought. He should get a cheaper daily driver if he's that paranoid and bring that out on special occasions. Put it in a private garage instead of taking up 4 parking spaces

I hate so much people who do that, but maybe he has the penthouse and those are both his parking spots? Anyway, I lived in an apartment with parking like that once and it was annoying cause we had to make sure that the person leaving earlier had to have the car in the back spot.

Big city Parking Garage, if you park behind someone blocking them in you have to leave your keys so the attendant can move you let the other person out if need be.
