FurryPhilosifer 04/15/22 7:23:31 PM #12:	3 has more and much better sidequests than 4. The gunplay and VATs is a bit more RPG-y in a way, not necessarily better but it might be something you prefer. I definitely enjoy it in a separate way to the gunplay in 4. The radio in 3 is also better. 4's often borders on annoying and gets old pretty easily, where Galaxy News Radio had plenty of great instrumentals to break things up. Also I don't love Three Dog or anything but he's so much better than that damn twerp in 4. Doing his quest doesn't improve him either, just changes his personality to something different but equally terrible. 3 has better dungeons. You can dive into the museums and and other landmarks in DC and find unique items or at the very least some unique locations. 4 has maybe what, 3 decent unique dungeons or interiors? Better vaults in 3 as well. I do like Fallout 4, I just think 3 has a fair amount going for it in its own right. --- Ghosts are cool. <cite>FurryPhilosifer posted [p:964315229] in I can't ge... Why am I meant to care about any of this?? It's not communicated very organically, it took me a good while to figure out the setting. I think this is actually a real strength of Bethesda games. I've never been confused playing one of their games in terms of where I am, what's going on, what the world status is, etc.. It's all introduced in a way that teaches me without ever making me ask "okay can someone explain this to me please". Kingdoms of Amalur really made me appreciate Bethesda's approach actually, after it took a good 30-40 hours before I started to understand basic information about the world in KoA.
