Finished Triangle Strategy (which I thoroughly enjoyed). Now I need a new Switch game to keep the abyss at bay

P:LA is a good time-sink imo.

Haven't played Arceus, but Kirby is a nice time. The game is more about exploring to find little secrets. It's not super long, probably like 15 to 20 hours for me to fly complete it.

Kirby is better, but Arceus lasts much longer.

Kirby wont last as long, but you could blow through arceus pretty quick as well if you really felt like it.

Lota stuff to do if you feel like it in arceus though.

They're both fun. I probably liked Arceus more but every switch owner who played Kirby and Pokemon growing up should get both.

Would recommend both. I've enjoyed kirby more though.

Kirby is a lot of fun. It's his first 3D game and it works really well. It's not that hard of a game, but I love the variety of abilities.

Just finished Kirby. And while shorter than Arceus, it is certainly long for a Kirby game if trying to do everything. Like 20 something hours long.

Also, definitely a top 3 Kirby game ever for me.

Kirby is legitimately on par with Nintendo's AAA first party games, and quite frankly outdoes a lot of Nintendo's own 3D platformers.

It has a hard mode which places it at about the difficult level of a Mario game, though it does scale a bit and gets a little bit more challenging by the final world but is still relatively easy compared to most games. That said, there are unlockable areas/side levels which actually get seriously difficult, to the point you might actually lose quite a few lives for the first time in the history of Kirby games haha.

The soundtrack is A+, the graphics are some of the best on Switch, and it's got great level design.
Also has one of the most hype endings I've ever seen in a Nintendo-y game.

The only way I would ever recommend Arceus over it would be if you're the type of person who values length over quality. You can beat the main story in maybe 8 to 10 hours, and maybe take it up to 15 hours if you want to do the extras in it.

Impossible to say with no given information. If it was me it would be Arceus with zero question like why haven't you gotten this game yet. But I have never really liked any Kirby game and love Pokemon.

However, Dunkey's views are pretty equivalent to mine on Kirby and he still seemed to really enjoy the new one.

Can't go wrong with either one. But I was personally more eager to get back to playing Kirby whenever I had some free time. Granted that might partially be because it's easier to pick it up and put it down, whereas Arceus is a game that I'll play for a few hours at a time.
