I never freak out, but I just sorta JUMPED up at 5am cause idk even. I heard something at my window? I thought my cat (who was sleeping right in front of it) was... jumping at it or something was at him? Scared the hell out of him though. Everything seems fine, but the blinds ARE tilted a little. I also live on the top floor.

Birds are real noisy outside. That's slightly weird for this early. Maybe it was a bird? Pitch black out.

I also live on a busy city street, but there's woods across the street and I'm pretty sure there are homeless people camping out in them. I saw a red light almost like a laser pointer the other night just sorta blinking. Then there was another light last night in the trees. I don't think any of this is related, my mind's just wandering.

A lightbulb also just blew up in my kitchen last night. Not burned out, like exploded. Never seen it happen before. Not touching that shit. Gonna get an electrician. So maybe it was ghosts.

There's also been a few stinky bugs (western conifer seed bug) in the apartment the past few days. One was in the shower today while I was in there shaving and spooked me. Maybe there was a bug at the window and my cat went after it under the blinds making the boom noise I thought I heard. That one seems rational. I'd say that's what happened or I was just dreaming, though I never dream like that.

I have pretty bad paranoia and the other night I heard someone whistling a tune outside my window after midnight. I live in a nice neighborhood where there is literally no one on foot at that hour. I was too spooked to check immediately, and when I finally did I didn't see anyone.
