i'm naturally skinny and barely add any muscle by lifting. it's hard and time consuming

and there's absolutely 0 difference between how much i get laid when i'm lifting and when i'm on a break. haven't worked out in 2 months now and it hasn't mattered at all in terms of attention from women

I think your body releases hormones that makes me you feel good, and not to mention some people can just like the activity similar to liking playing basketball or something

It's a self improvement thing. You shouldn't be lifting for anyone but yourself. But it does help with confidence which helps with women.

ok, and? Is this topic about you or why people find working out appealing? If the latter, some people find it helps with their self-confidence and thats why it appeals to them, other people have other reasons for enjoying it.

it helps you later in life by having muscle and working out, even if it's just a little. stay active so that when you're 40 you can still do daily chores without pain

Also it can feed a "I'm a jacked manly man and that justifies my self-esteem, bro" vanity mindset some people have.

Also it can be good for health in some ways.

to me i like cardio where i can walk on the track and listen to podcasts for hours. literally 10-20 miles worth. or on the treadmill and just have a half day of netflix marathons. lifting i got into a bit and got some decent muscle going, but i got bored. i'd rather do muay thai / boxing. fun stuff.

You lift weights to get stronger and look better. In fact excercise in general keeps you energized and lessens body pain when you are older.
