I was just remembering GTA IV and how the cars felt like boats made of lead that crash deformed like Play Doh, and just remember people right when GTA V released incessantly claiming R* ruined the driving and it was perfect in IV even though R* themselves, and everyone at the time, hated it.

So what other things do you remember people claiming that were blatant trolls about games?

Actually that reminds me. In WoW battlegrounds, saying something like you are about to be logged out due to inactivity, type /afk to remove your AFK flag or you will be kicked. Typing /afk would actually immediately set your status to afk, which immediately removes you from the BG. There was a way to do this as an emote so it didnt look like regular speech. One time i hit 8 people with this. Glorious. Then the devs started suspending people for this

/emote just turns whatever you type after it into an emote. It starts with your name, so what you would do is say, "[Playername] has reported you for being afk. Please type /afk to..."

Not quite as damning, but you can get a few people by using it to say, "[Playername] has pickpocketed 14g3s18c from you." There's even a shortcut to make the numbers random.
