An OF star is alleged to have stabbed her boyfriend to death before taking to social media to share sultry snaps. Courtney Clenney, 25, known on her social media platforms as Courtney Tailor, was detained and later taken to a mental institution. Police say she killed 27-year-old Christian Obumseli after an altercation in an apartment complex in Miami, Florida. He was due to turn 28 next week, people close to him said. "We know that there was a physical altercation between them before he was stabbed," a Miami PD spokesperson said. Cops found her boyfriend stabbed once in the shoulder at a luxury apartment that Clenney herself summoned them to, reports said. He was rushed to hospital but he succumbed to his injuries.

Friends of the couple said they were shocked by the death, but added that Clenney had been violent towards Obumseli in the past. Weve seen her hit him," Ashley Vaughn said. "Ive never seen him hit her." From what weve personally experienced between the both of them, we believe that Christian wouldnt put her in a position where she would need to stab him to protect herself, Vaughn added. Neighbors in the building, where the couple reportedly lived together, have said that the couple had a long history of domestic disputes. After Clenney was detained she threatened to kill herself so she was forcibly taken to a mental institution, reports said. Police said that the threat led to an evaluation, causing her to be "Baker Acted," wherein a person can be committed to a mental health institution for 72 hours when such threats are made. Although she was detained on April 3, OF content was somehow still posted on Clenney's account the day after. Clenney does not face any charges for Obumselis death as things stand.

Yet. It says shes been taken to a mental facility. Typically theyll perform cognitive tests and see where she is mentally. That will determine the charge and if she is fit to stand trial for them.

She's only there because she threatened to kill herself while being arrested. I don't think they're going to diagnose her with some kind of mental disability rendering her inculpable.

I dont know, suicidal people arent typically checked into mental institutions against their will. Theyre taken to a hospital and kept under supervision. I feel like if they didnt expect more was going on theyd chain her to a hospital bed and wait it out.

Anyways, the "friend" of Courtney doesnt seem like much of a friend at all, immediately blaming her for the murder before the investigation is complete.

Also people that threatening to kill themselves after committing a murder is bizzare, its like....huh? Your just going to make yourself look guilty. If you really did it out of self defense, why would you want to kill yourself?

I'm not sure how people get away with killing others. I actually know a girl that killed a lady a while back by driving on the wrong side of the road (while under the influence of some prescription drugs). She got a manslaughter charge and only served two years in prison. I only know she got out of prison because she started updating her Instagram and Twitter about 2 months ago acting like everything is normal. Weird af.

I worked in acute psychiatric care for ten years. Yes they are. Like, literally all the fucking time.

In fact, if you're interacting with police and all you do is say "I'm going to kill myself" and are at least somewhat convincing in your demeanor on the subject, more often than not that earns you a 5150 (72 hour involuntary hold) at the local psych ward.

Police are not going to take the liability risk of having someone state they're suicidal and not act on it.
