Normally I would say read the room and keep the roasting light-hearted, but he was heckling her and she fired back. I see nothing wrong with that. The heckling is especially bad etiquette when you consider that T.I. also was apparently performing comedy that night. He was being disrespectful.

When DaBaby went on his homophobic rant about gay people, T.I. defended him.

He basically said "Y'all wanna tell us to be tolerant to gay people but then where's that tolerance we talk about our views" or something to that extent.

From what I've seen from TI, he's just a loose cannon and he's easily offended. And his creeds are simple and yet primitive. He's a stubborn guy but I've also seen a humble side of him as well.

do people who unironically say this realize that comedians have gotten criticized since the beginning of time? George Carlin got a lot of pushback, as did guys like Richard Pryor, Eddie Murphy, even Robin Williams...Its nothing new. Heckling has always been a thing too. In this case it sounds like he was heckling, she responded back, and since he's famous they decided to allow him to speak. Sounds like they made up immediately thereafter and it just became a part of the set. Comedians aren't suddenly being attacked and comedy isn't being eliminated. People need to stop being so dramatic lol.
