I didnt really like the game that much because I thought it was easy. I havent played it in about 15 years. Decided to play it again.

I feel like I underrated story so far but the difficulty is even easier then I remember. I put it on the highest difficulty because I knew it was easy even though its been a long time. I remember being able to fight mobs and train indefinitely in the tower. I assumed that was the reason for its easy difficulty even on the hardest mode. Nope.

This game is embarrassingly easy even if you dont use any of those features. The hardest chapters usually are at the very beginning of the game for hard modes in FE games but this is like normal mode. Its nothing. Its an ass whooping express. The game will get easier the farther I get outside of maybe a chapter or two late in the game.

What were they thinking? I shouldnt have to do some weird challenge to make the game actually challenging. I dont remember how hard the endgame is but I bet its not much more difficult as the main game. Im sure its harder though because it cant get any easier

Seth might very well be the most busted unit in FE history. He completely trivializes any difficulty the game could have had.

Sacred Stones was my first FE, and I ended up loving it.

"Reset the game until RNG lets you win" isn't difficulty, it's just tedium

When I was little I fell for the "prepromotes are bad" line of thought and never used Seth.

Game is still piss easy lol.

game isn't a reset fest if you play right

Seth isn't the first useful Jeigan but he is far and away the best of them. Just solos the entire game on Hard if you want no sweat.

FESS is my fave FE game

i have OCD so i couldn't let a single char die tho, even tertiary ones.

I don't care if it was easy; it was fun. I play games to have fun

What does the Easy mode even do in that game?

ss is so good. really the only one that's fun to play and not just some chore. also eirika is great. and seth is so broken it's awesome.

I'm also...not a big fan of the story tbh.

The story is somehow worse than the previous game, and it's so easy it feels like a mistake, but nonetheless I enjoyed Sacred Stones.

And Seth is great. If you're gonna have a Jeigan, go all in.

Dont tell me that. I said it was underrated based on what Ive played at the beginning. I was hoping it wouldnt devolve into some shit show that I forgot about

EDIT: Looks like they nerfed Thrones too. They dont give back as much HP as before. This is more of a direct nerf to bosses than anything
