Its all starting to sink in now.

Im starting to go back to normal and going to usual spots and activities and

Im going to restaurants, and am like, Hey! Wheres the nice little old lady co-owner that always gave my kids free sweets?

Im going to the boxing gym like, Wheres coach Rick at?

You always get the same reaction. Their eyes open up, turn to you with a face that literally spells out, You havent heard? And it was Covid.

Real people within our community. I see a widower husband, carrying on with his business without his helpful woman. A son putting on a strong face and continuing run the gym despite every time he looks to where his dad would be sitting, greeting clients, hes not there.

Sorry for the rant. Just venting this shit out.
