I feel 2015 is the last year before things started drastically changing. On an economic, political, and social level our society changed a lot(with the pandemic adding onto that).

Almost exactly the same as it is now.

I got laid off from target that year cause they moved out of Canada. Was off that whole year living off unemployment so it was fun but after that ended I was broke. Closest I've ever been to being poor with only change for the bus to my name.

7 years later though I'm much better off financially and doing alot better so im Pretty happy so far.

Very different from now. In April of 2015, I was engaged and my fiancee was pregnant. Now I'm single and my son is with me half of the time.

Dark times for me. That was before I sought treatment for my severe depression. I'm doing a little better now. Got on some meds and they seem to be helping. Got a new job too.

I went out a lot more back then.

I still go out and hang with friends these days but not as often. Back in 2015 I was rarely home except to sleep.

for the better and the worse

oh yeah. Made a complete career change after going back to school to study stem. Making a lot more.

My dad wasn't dead, my mom functioned well as a human being, my brother and I talked regularly, I was still on track for finishing my degree, my health hadn't declined, and I hadn't developed some kind of seizure disorder yet.

Yeah, I'd prefer 2015 back thanks. Or really, even further back would be better.

7 years ago I was living my best life
I was an alcoholic, unemployed and on neet bucks and knew nothing more of the world

Im more numb than depressed. Back then I was more depressed than numb. Had worse addictions making my lows way more low and highs more high.

It has been much worse thanks to the fact that donald trunp exists.

That's when I started living in Puerto Rico on and off.

Really should've gotten one of those jetblue membership deals

Quit all drugs and now go on dates - I've managed to make a diagnosis of schizophrenia essentially be as damaging as bad anxiety (still get paranoid under times of stress but was literally delusional and psychotic for a time back then)

Life has improved ten fold for me

I didn't have kids in 2015. Now I have three. I also make over twice as much as I made in 2015. So I'm doing much better

I'm much stronger, bigger, smarter. I got more cash also and better computers. With all this, I can say I'm much more rich.

Things are far worse now. I hated my life back then, but it's heaven compared to the hell I live in now.
